This was one of the worst written speeches I’ve heard from Obama. Who wrote this?? The message was there & I agree with the message, but it was all over the place. I know you have so much on your plate and its all important, but this could have been tied to today so much better.Hopefully next year on Dr. Kings b-day not so many emergencies will be happening & we’ll see a speech that truly represents the day. @2xtream No, he doesn’t. Ex. a 19 yo student(I believe it was), wrote his speech for him, back when he got elected.
The thing is though, Obama takes part in it. Obama gives the writer inspiration. Obama can’t just accept a speech, without reading through it, and understanding it. Obama edits the speeches he is given by his writer. It’s been this way for many years. You don’t need to be a good writer, to become a good president.
