From colombia: i think that the democracy is certainly a dream and that united states population is used in the worst way to get the interest of the little political class, and they want to export it using force rather than care about education.
here in colombia i see it happening everyday and is a shame force tend to win over thinking.

Talking and thinking about such matters is getting off one’s lazy arse, rebellion and change has to start somewhere no?. Being in denial, serving and defending the corporate megalithic state and structure, whilst attacking those that have the notion of challenging it at any level, is more productive then? The most effective civil action against allowing our western governments to slip into fascism ( domination of others by force and ourselves by civil rights removal) is to strike, demonstrate and refuse to cooperate.
One day we might all have to do that to remove the right wing nut jobs from our societies in the west.

Pilger is an amazing orator. He has he speaks calmly and slowly without being boring. His information is well organized and relevant. I don’t know what else to say. He is the best journalist I know.
There is no end for the Obama Orgy in Europe… I understand why he would quit his partnership with the Manifesto, you are simply NOT allowed to say anything bad about Obama. He is the messiah.
Every time I watch or read things like this it gives me such a relief that there are growing number of people who understand how things really are. John, thank you so much for what you do.
Why accept Mr. Pilger’s comments as truth? What IS truth? He stands there denouncing so much of America’s leadership, speaking calmly and freely, his words broadcast on YouTube with no editing. Where is his fear of this horrible country’s CIA? Is he truly a brave, brilliant man or a fool? Is he reading something written by others for him to say? How do we know he is honest? Therein lies the problem: He could be misleading us as cunningly as anyone. Don’t react to my statements, just think.
All empires fail/fall due to the fact that it is top management based and those at the top become corrupted by power. The core problem we have in todays society is money.
Once you realise that is the case then you can work towards using our technology and resources to make it work without money.

@usergently: sorry, but Peace has nothing to do with war. Peace is in direct opposition of war. Peace is the natural state humans would live in if the powers-that-be didn’t have us all fighting amongst ourselves, which is to their advantage while they make billions on their wars. “War is over, if you want it.” Those words are so true. It’s up to us to end the wars, and live in Peace forever. IMAGINE!

Any idea or concept put into Action becomes an “ism” a suffix tag to denote what ideals that we put into action. As in Democratism, Republicanism or Capitalism, Corporatism or Christianism, Islamism.
A philosophic label with that suffix conotes derision. Being Social is Humanism, the core idea that People can socially construct a Humane Society as in being Human. It is difficult to being a Human Being by giving up Hope. Hope is just a word derived from our basic emotion called Desire!
