    Great speech!

What a speech. This speech continue to confirm that America is really a magical place, a place where with determination and strong hopes, Anything is Possible. Even though some may not agree

    46% and falling………………….crash!

Give this comment a thumbs up if you think the President can get reelected in 2012.

  • AshburnStadium says:

When I watched this speech with my politically-active mother (who is now 80 and still a staunch, active Democrat), I said to her, “This man will be president someday.”

Like you, GeorgiaKev, little did I realize that it would be just over four years later!

Go Obama – don’t let the conservatives hold you down, especially the “birthers” who have been raised to not have a brain in their heads.

  • AshburnStadium says:

    Jag:

I’d have to disagree strongly with you on who was the best president of all time.

FDR wins that title hands-down, and no president since will ever match or beat his record.

A disabled man brought hope and life back to a financially-destroyed country, created millions of jobs thru many social programs, and then guided us through the worst war in history.

Reagan is remembered as the guy who declared ketchup as a vegetable for school lunches, and his voodoo economics hurt the country.

    Like Clinton in 1994?

  • RulerOFmany says:

    Yeah

Why did the DNC cut this passage?

The pundits, the pundits like to slice-and-dice our country into Red States and Blue States; Red States for Republicans, Blue States for Democrats. But Ive got news for them, too. We worship an “awesome God” in the Blue States, and we dont like federal agents poking around in our libraries in the Red States.

“A skinny kid with a funny name”….just a BEAUTIFUL human being!! Just a shame it took so long for us to get a guy like this in office. I see a brighter, better day whenever I just see him on TV or something. A very special individual. He’ll make this worl a better place…no doubt. So happy to have wittnessed this in my lifetime!!! God bless the world…not just America!!

Has anyone ever told him that he is a giggling imbecile?

  • KodaJosh098 says:

“All men are created equal that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights that among these are life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.”

Hmmm…if we are all created equal, how come the unborn has no rights even if they are endowed by their Creator with LIFE, liberty, and pursuit of happiness?

*Creator – can mean anything like God, Evolution, yadda yadda (but our Forefathers had faith in God.)

  • stiehler1117 says:

People will believe anything that gives them any answers or the smallest glimpse of hope. Obama played on this sad truth. We as a country are so desperate for change that someone like Obama gets elected president.

  • differentdarkness says:

I agree with this question. It’s one of the most powerful passages in the speech, in my opinion, and it’s a shame it’s not in this video.

  • TOMP66666 says:

PRO-COMMUNIST SENATOR “HANOI” JOHN KERRY SUPPORTS BRUTAL COMMUNIST VIETNAM BY KILLING VIETNAM HUMAN RIGHTS ACT IN THE SENATE.

He considers dirty money and economic ties with Vietnam much more important than democracy and human rights values. Consequently, Vietnam, has waged a new crackdown on democracy activists such as Father Nguyen van Ly and lawyers Nguyen van Dai and Le thi Cong Nhan, who were given unfair, harsh sentences of several years in prison for their democracy activities.
