In her new CBSNews.com show @katiecouric, the CBS Evening News anchor sat down with Fox News host Glenn Beck. Beck, who has been one of Pres. Obama’s fiercest and most vocal critics, says last year’s GOP nominee, John McCain, “would have been worse.”

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe’s” roundtables yesterday and today voiced that they thought President Obama should have done Fox News Sunday.

After her interview with Ted Kennedy, Jr., “60 Minutes” correspondent Lesley Stahl says she was “left with the impression Ted Jr. would run for public office someday.”

Last week, though, the prominent political blogger Andrew Sullivan used his forum on TheAtlantic.com to tell readers to subscribe to the print edition of the magazine. It worked. Within two days after last Monday’s post, Mr. Sullivan’s appeal pulled in 75 percent of the subscriptions that the Web site draws in a typical month, the magazine’s publisher, Jay Lauf, said.
